Irma J. Diaz-Martin is an investigator for the State of California who has served in a law enforcement capacity for approximately 14 years. She recently graduated from Brandman University, part of the Chapman University System, with her Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership (Ed.D.). Her research interests are law enforcement culture, generational cohorts, and organizational leadership. She currently serves as a Board of Director for the California Association of Criminal Investigators (CACI), which represents over 500 members. Irma is also seeking opportunities to pursue her passion in adult education as an adjunct professor for a university, as well as an instructor for police academies. She is a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) and has joined the Rotary Club of Mission Valley Sunset with the mindset of giving back to the community. She is a steadfast believer in helping others, as she has been given opportunities throughout her life to excel both professionally and scholastically because of individuals who gave her the opportunity to prove her abilities in these roles. Aside from her professional, educational, and community goals, she is the happiest spending time with her loved ones and pets.
